Jewelry: Upcycled leather feather necklace

This class will teach some basics for making your own jewelry while completing a project. Using recycled leather and jewelry supplies we will create a super cute feather necklace. Great for moms & daughters to take together!
This class costs $18, materials provided.

Recycled Art Journals
Thursday September 23rd 4-6 pm
$18 adults ages 16+
Using old books we will create an art journal fit just for you. This class will be delightfully fun and messy. You will find that making these books can be more fun than filling the pages! Ramona Muse will be leading this class. She began experimenting with the idea once she began exploring the beautiful and detailed manuscripts she encountered studying abroad in Rome in 2006. She spent many hours in the studio working on an extensive collection of recycled journals made from books she collected along her travels.

T-shirt Reconstruction Workshop Party
Thursday, September 30th, 7-9pm
$6 Ages 14+
This will be a fun social sewing event! Everyone must bring at least one t-shirt to work with but multiple shirts are encouraged. Simple sewing ideas will be presented and then everyone will cut loose to create their own fabulous one-of-a-kind top! Buttons, lace, thread, etc provided.

Parent & Child Sewing Class
Saturday, October 2nd, 1-2:30pm
$7 each individual ($14 for gaurdian and child)
Each set of students (parent and child) will create a hand sewn cuff bracelet from scratch and decorate them while problem solving together.

Beginning Sewing: A Simple Tote Bag

In this beginning sewing class we will use a simple pattern to construct your very own grocery tote. Each student will be provided with the fabric, sewing machine and the tools needed to accomplish this. Experienced sewers, Carissa Starleaf and Ramona Muse, will be leading this class.

After school Fun: Create Your Own Felt Monster!
